Region

The Lucinda Todo Bom vineyard is situated in Poço do Canto, in Mêda county. It is a mountainous region that transitions from the Beirão Highlands to the Upper Douro and is distinguished for its valuable historic patrimony, its traditional gastronomy and its breathtaking views.

Between churches, noble houses and pillories that are found all over the county, it is possible to visit the castles in Longroiva and Marialva, one of the 12 Historic Villages in Portugal. In the neighboring counties you can find Paleolithic Prehistoric Art in Vila Nova de Foz Côa or at the Historic Centre in Trancoso, where the marriage of D. Dinis and Isabel de Aragão, two important figures in the history of Portugal, took place.

In the granitic landscape, pinewoods and almond trees can be easily recognized, showing their flowers under the Spring sun. The vines and the olive trees make up the views as well, accounting for a naturally rich, diverse and preserved patrimony.
